How to Apply
HPS is willing to consider all candidates - whether or not they may have an Administrator License currently in hand. We are willing to help a great applicant work towards getting their Administrator License. However, those applicants with a current license or working towards their licensure may have a preferred status.
Candidates must submit the following application materials by email or postal mail.
1. Letter of Introduction and Interest
2. Three - five letters of recommendation
3. Copies of all college transcripts
4. Certified Application found on school website
5. Up to 500 word answers to the following questions
6. Copies of your educational licenses
a. Describe an experience in which you had a tricky situation in an educational setting that was hard to manage. How did you resolve the situation? What was your role in resolving the problem? What did you learn from this experience?
b. What makes you a unique candidate for this position as an Educational Leader? What additional and interesting experiences, skills and interests would you bring to Harlowton Public Schools?
c. What are the three most important skills an excellent Principal or Educational Leader must practice to be successful? How do you know if you have been successful?
